Referring Veterinarians


Dr. Jamie works with you - the primary doctor - and the owner to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes for your patients musculoskeletal needs through promotion of mobility, functional ability, and quality of life.

Chiropractor

Dr. Jamie Mabeus is a licensed chiropractor who completed 226 hours of in-classroom post graduate education specifically in animal chiropractic and an additional 142 in-classroom post graduate hours in veterinary massage and rehabilitation, emphasizing functional neurology, muscular and osseous anatomy specific to large and small animals. Chiropractic care is a complimentary method of care and does not replace traditional veterinary medicine. All of Dr. Jamie’s patients are required to stay up-to-date with their veterinarian. ​​​

Communication

Dr. Jamie makes it a priority to facilitate communication between herself and her patients’ referring veterinarians. After every evaluation with Dr. Jamie, a thorough report is sent promptly to the patient’s primary veterinarian and specialist (if applicable). If you have any questions about a patient’s care, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Dr. Jamie cannot do the following:

  • ​Make a diagnosis. 
  • Take radiographs or perform advanced imaging.
  • Recommend neutraceuticals, supplements and/or dietary changes.
  • Prescribe medication.
  • Take responsibility for the primary care of the animal.

Referral 

Dr. Jamie does not and cannot provide primary care services. She is a referral based practitionar that works hand in hand with the referring vet to ensure the highest quality of care for each patient. Should a patient need further diagnostics or care outside the scope of veterinary rehabilitation, we refer them back to the primary doctor.
